AdornGeo’s fieldwork and report-support area, centred on the long-running Ko Samet tourism investigation.
Internal assessment allows students to apply geographic skills and knowledge through fieldwork without the time limitations of an examination. Students collect primary information and produce a written report based on a fieldwork question.
At NIST, the archived AdornGeo IA focused on investigating the impacts of tourism on Ko Samet, Thailand, using Butler’s model of tourism to provide the geographic context.
